My Story
At Bare Necessities Sweets & Treats, I believe that sweets are not just a dessert but an experience. My journey began in 2010 when I started experimenting with different flavors and ingredients to create unique and delectable sweets for family and friends. After years of perfecting my craft, I finally opened Bare Necessities Sweets & Treats in 2025 so that I can provide my treats for all of you.

At Bare Necessities Sweets & Treats, I believe that every sweet should be made with the highest quality ingredients and a lot of love. That's why I use only the freshest and finest ingredients sourced from local suppliers to create the delicious sweets you enjoy so much. I believe that a sweet treat can brighten anyone's day, and I want to share that joy with you.
About me
Hi! I'm Carissa, your friendly baker, the heart behind it all. One of my love languages is sharing good food with those I care about. When I make a meal or sweet treat and you enjoy it, it brings me so much joy. When I'm not baking, you might find me running my other business, from behind the camera or at an event making sure everything is running smoothly. My all goes into everything I do for all of you do that you have the best experience possible.
When I'm not working, you'll likely find me with my family, writing, reading, bowling with our team, camping, playing games with friends or family, or perhaps binge watching one of my favorite shows or movie series: Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Hunger Games, Grey's Anatomy, Friends, Criminal Minds, NCIS, or Golden Girls.
Laughter, family, friends, my clients, making wonderful memories that we can look back on, music, good food, nerding out with my fellow nerds, and helping others are what make my life beautiful and i want to share some of that beauty with you.
